Discover the wine culture of the City of Lights. Stroll through Lucerne with your fellow wine lovers and meet new hosts who will ensure you never go thirsty.
Experience details
Lucerne has more to offer than the Chapel Bridge and views of the Rigi. If you really want to get to know the city, follow the wine. On the Lucerne City Wine Walk, you and your group will explore the city at your own pace, visiting four carefully selected hosts.
At each stop, a host will be waiting for you with a glass of wine and a story about their business and the product.
Practical information
The wine walk takes you right through the heart of the city. The exact stops, as well as the start and end points, will be provided after booking. The starting point is usually a 5–10 minute walk from the train station; easily accessible on foot or by public transport.

A City Wine Walk is a self-guided wine experience where you visit four selected venues in a city and enjoy a wine tasting at each one.
The ticket price includes four tastings at four different venues, the organisation, set start times, the digital trail guide, and a trail kit (a small goodie bag) per person.
The City Wine Walk lasts a total of just over 4 hours, with about 45 minutes at each stop before you head off at a relaxed pace to the next one.
Yes. High-quality non-alcoholic alternatives are available on request; these are carefully selected and offer more than just water or orange juice.
No. Winetrails are deliberately designed to be accessible and are aimed at both beginners and experienced wine lovers.
We work with hand-picked wine shops, bars and hosts who stand for quality, personality and openness. We won't reveal your exact tour just yet, of course. That would be boring!
The goodie bag is included in the price and enhances the experience with a tote bag and a selection of small mini-snacks.
After booking, you will receive access to the digital trail guide, which will lead you step-by-step to all the stops.
Of course. Simply go to the "Vouchers" menu item to order your voucher quickly and easily.
No; you will be travelling as a private group. You book your own slot and experience the city wine walk entirely on your own. No queuing, no waiting for other groups, no strangers at your table.
The city wine walk generally goes ahead even in the rain, as the tastings take place indoors or in covered areas at the hosts' venues.
Of course. We do not charge separately for children. However, we do not organise separate drinks for children. Water is provided free of charge by every host. Please note this in the comments section so that our hosts are prepared accordingly. Thank you for your understanding.
Yes. Winetrails are ideal for corporate events, team building and group outings, and can be combined with customised routes, dinner or additional programmes.
Dogs are welcome in Lucerne and Zurich. On the Bern city wine tour, there is one location where dogs are not permitted inside and would need to be left leashed outside.
